School of Science, Dalian Maritime University

Introduction:

The predecessor of the School of Science, Dalian Maritime University was the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics, which was established in 1960, and was later renamed in turn as the Sixth Department, the Department of Fundamentals, and the Department of Mathematics and Science.In 2005, the university abolished the Department of Mathematics and Science and formed the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Physics.In June 2017, the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Physics were merged to form the College of Science. The college has two disciplines, mathematics and physics, and the professional education can be traced back to the 1960s. At present, the College has set up three undergraduate majors in mathematics and applied mathematics, statistics and applied physics, and has master's degree authorization points in the first-level disciplines of mathematics and physics. The majors of Applied Physics and Mathematics and Applied Mathematics have been awarded the model majors of first-class undergraduate education in ordinary higher education institutions in Liaoning Province in 2019 and 2020. Under the background of deepening reform of the university and the situation of accelerating development of the university as a whole, the institute will further integrate resources, optimize structure, expand influence, comprehensively improve the teaching and research level of the institute, and actively perform the duties of talent cultivation, scientific research, service to the society, cultural inheritance and innovation, and international exchanges and cooperation, and strive to make efforts for the university's "double first-class" construction and research-oriented world-class research. Shanghai Customs College (SCC)

Introduction:

Shanghai Customs College (SCC) was formerly known as Shanghai Customs School (SCS), which was founded in 1953. SCS was upgraded as Shanghai Customs School with the approval of the State Council in May 1980, and renamed Shanghai Customs Advanced School in April 1996 with the approval of the State Education Commission. In March 2007, SCC was established as a full-time regular institution of higher education with the approval of the Ministry of Education, starting a new chapter in the cause of higher education on customs. 

Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok of SB RAS

Introduction:

Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok was created on the basis of the Novosibirsk State University and Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Mission of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok: to increase Siberia’s appeal to leading Russian and foreign scientists and promising young researchers; to focus on integrating Russian mathematical research into the world scientific community by creating an infrastructure of international scientific, technical, and innovative technological cooperation; to provide an advanced level of fundamental and applied research in mathematics and related fields; to develop the personnel potential of Siberia in the field of research and development by promoting the professional growth of young researchers and university teachers in the field of mathematics.

Liaoning Math

Introduction:
